so what is the resolution of the conflict? Orality won over writing? Or can we say that writing took over orality on the Americas but orality has always(time to time) returned to remind us of the betraying nature of writing or, to say so, of its unfaithfulness? Why do we take memory as trustworthy while literature is taken as non reliable  in moost of the cases? Is it due to the character of orality of the former?
